Blues Restaurant (The Promenade, Victoria Road, Camps Bay, Cape Town) – located on the beachside enclave Camps Bay, this restaurant’s menu is defined as “Contemporary Mediterranean”, resonating the delectable flavors of the Mediterranean Sea, including Spain, Portugal, France, Greece and a very Strong Italian influence.
The ‘Contemporary’ component is defined by Blues’ original menu vision of fresh local produce. While it would love to mimic the classic dishes of the Med, some require Blues to adapt to encompass its own locally sourced produce prepared with a Mediterranean touch, rather than attempting to source the items all the way from Europe. Regardless of the menu, Blues’ undeniable draw is still the seaside view – which is priceless.
